Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! As the Superintendent of Brawley Elementary School District, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all our returning families and those who are new to our community. We are excited to embark on another year of learning, growth, and success.

Our district is home to four exceptional elementary schools and two outstanding middle schools, each with its unique spirit and pride. Whether your child is an Otter, Hawk, Wrangler, Panther, Patriot, or Bobcat, they are part of a vibrant and supportive educational community dedicated to their success. We are pleased to announce the opening of Padilla-Pace Middle School this year and look forward to watching the students and families grow together as a learning community.  

 We offer a variety of programs to meet the diverse needs and interests of our students, including:

• Afterschool Programs: Providing extended learning opportunities and enrichment activities through ASES and ARC at all 6 campuses until 6:00 pm daily.  This includes a snack and dinner program.

• Saturday Programs and Intersession Programs: Ensuring continuous learning and engagement beyond the regular school calendar, providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for students.   

• Dual Immersion: Promoting bilingualism and biliteracy in English and Spanish at J.W. Oakley in grades TK-3.

• GATE (Gifted and Talented Education): Challenging and stimulating our gifted learners on all 6 of our campuses.

• Migrant Education Program: Supporting the unique needs of our migrant students and families during school, after school, on Saturday, and during the summer.

• Fine Arts: Offering Dance, Music, and/or Art to nurture creativity and self-expression on all 6 campuses.

• English Learner Support: Helping our English learners achieve language proficiency and academic success during the school day and beyond.  This includes our newcomers programs at Miguel Hidalgo and Padilla-Pace Middle School.

 We are also proud of our strong parent programs designed to engage and support our families. Our Community Schools Program and parent liaisons are here to provide resources, guidance, and assistance to ensure that you and your children have a successful and enriching school experience.
